Silken Tofu Scramble

Today we’re Introducing our fertility-friendly silken tofu scramble recipe! This quick and easy dish is packed with hormone-balancing ingredients and contains flavors and nutrients. Tofu, our star ingredient, is a fantastic plant-based complete protein that supports reproductive health—accompanied by red bell peppers, sweet onions, and spinach, all loaded with fertility-supporting nutrients like vitamin C and folate. 

Basil leaves add a refreshing touch, while the spice blend of chili powder, cumin, and turmeric adds depth and warmth. If you’re feeling adventurous, a dash of hot sauce can add an extra kick to this delightful dish.

What You’ll Need to Make It: Ingredients

  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Onion, chopped
  • 1 lb Tofu, extra firm, drained and crumbled
  • 4 cups Spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Basil Leaves, chopped
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin, ground
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • Hot Sauce (optional)

How to Make:

  • Prep:
    1. Dice the pepper, chop the onion, and chop the spinach.
    2. Drain and crumble the tofu.
  • Make:
    1. In a bowl, mix crumbled tofu with chili powder, cumin, and turmeric. Massage until spices are well incorporated. Set aside.
    2. Lightly oil a sauté pan, add onions and peppers, and sauté until soft.
    3. Add tofu and cook until warmed through about 5 minutes.
    4. Stir in spinach and basil, season with salt to taste.
    5. Top with hot sauce if desired.

  • Incorporate diced tomatoes or avocado for an extra layer of flavor and fertility-boosting nutrients.

  • Can I use another type of tofu? For the best texture in this scramble, extra-firm tofu is recommended.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 1/4 cups sweet onion chopped
  • 1 lb tofu, extra firm drained and crumbled
  • 4 cups spinach chopped
  • 1/2 cups basil leaves chopped
  • 2 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp tumeric
  • hot sauce optional

Instructions
